Treatment of peripheral ossifying fibroma: A case report

Aim: This report presents a case of fibroma with its clinical features, treatment, and diagnosis follow up period.Background: Fibroma is the lesion that occur in response to stimulus within oral cavity, may result aesthetic functional issues related mastication. Peripheral ossifying considered be reactive, non-neoplastic exhibit variant characteristics. article describes reactive gingiva treatment. involved female patient who presented chief complain swelling her maxillary right anterior teeth region since 6-7 months. Following clinico-radiographic examination histopathological confirmation, final for was determined peripheral fibroma. The underwent treatment using an 810nm diode laser. duration follow-up period one year. No recurrence seen.Conclusion: It recommended implement appropriate measures complete eradication lesions prevent their recurrence. Clinical Significance: highlights necessity conducting thorough clinical, radiographic, evaluations ensure accurate by dental practitioners develop strategy.
